A-FITS Glendale

Glendale Campus at a Glance

The Glendale Campus includes 9 classrooms, a sensory gym, therapy offices, a multipurpose room, a secure fenced playground, a full basketball court, a track, and an artificially turfed field.

These spaces allow students to move throughout the campus for academics, Sensory Integration, recreation, social interaction, therapy support, and student activities instead of spending the entire day in one classroom.

The A-FITS Program at Glendale

Students at Glendale have access to the A-FITS educational framework, including FITS Learning™, High Functioning Autism Programming, Functional Academic Programming, Structured Teaching, Individualized Learning Plans, Speech and Occupational Therapy, School Based ABA, Sensory Integration, Social-Emotional Learning, FITS Life™, FITS Experience™, FITS Beyond™, and FITS Forward™ for high-school students.

Programming is individualized around the student's academic abilities, communication, sensory needs, behavior, executive functioning, social development, life skills, independence, and future goals.

Enrollment & Classroom Availability

Glendale experiences strong enrollment interest, and some classrooms may operate with a waitlist.

A-FITS cannot reserve a seat until the required admissions and enrollment steps have been completed. Because student retention is high, openings in full classrooms may occur infrequently.

If an appropriate classroom is currently full, families may request to be placed on the waitlist.

Application does not guarantee placement. Admissions depends on appropriate program fit and classroom availability.

RISE Extended School Day

RISE provides before- and after-school support for families who need additional coverage outside the regular school day.

RISE is intentionally different from the academic day and gives students opportunities for recreation, socialization, activities, connection, and decompression within a familiar A-FITS environment.

Availability and enrollment requirements should be confirmed with the campus.

Lunch

A-FITS does not participate in the federal school lunch program.

Families provide lunch for their child each school day. Students may bring a sack lunch or other prepared meal, and microwaves are available for foods that require heating.

Family Communication

ClassDojo is used for classroom communication with families. Parents should contact their child's teacher for the appropriate classroom connection information.

The A-FITS Parent Portal provides enrolled families with access to available school information and family resources.

Campus Calendar

Glendale follows its own campus calendar and activity schedule. Families should use Glendale-specific school communications and the Parent Portal when planning around holidays, breaks, half-days, professional development, campus events, closures, and schedule changes.
